Remote or online computer support allows a technician to troubleshoot, update or repair your computer through a secure internet connection. Rather than having a support person providing instructions per phone as you attempt to make the repairs yourself, a remote service requires no action on your part after you log in until the problem is resolved and you log out. It's by far the fastest and most economical way to get professional support for your computer.

The average remote support session lasts anywhere from 45-65 minutes. However, depending on the type of problems you're experiencing, a session may be shorter or much longer. In some cases where the computer problems are severe, we may recommend a follow up remote session or scheduling an in-home or in-office visit by a certified technician.
Nexigen charges $90 for 60 minutes of remote support, or a discounted $255 for 180 minutes of remote support. We encourage you to purchase a full hour or more to take advantage of our discounted rates when you schedule support, or consider an annual subscription plan. If you don't use all your minutes, we'll save them in your account for anytime use.
- How can Redline remote support help me?
Many problems can be solved remotely using RedLine as long as you have a working
internet connection. If you are unable to access the internet at all please
call us. We may be able to get you back on over the phone. For a list

- Is remote support complicated for me to use?
Redline by Nexigen has been designed from the ground up to be easy to use. By allowing a remote technician to access your computer through the Internet they are able to fix your computer directly. - Do you charge to diagnose my computer?
Yes. However, the better you can describe your problems the less time it will take to diagnose your computer and begin fixing problems. In some cases your problems may be difficult to diagnose or can not be located. At Nexigen, we will do everything we can to identify and resolve your computer problems, or at the very least, provide suggestions and next steps on resolving any issues.
- Is RedLine work guaranteed?
Yes! Problems fixed by Redline remote support and repair have the same guarantee as our on-site work.
- Does RedLine provide Macintosh support?
Reline remote support is currently only available for Windows-based PCs at this
time however we can provide traditional on-site repair and upgrades for your Macintosh
system.
- What about my older computer?
If your computer operates using Windows 98 or earlier, we recommend that you NOT use RedLine. Diagnosis and repair of older systems is not cost-effective due to the additional time required. Also, some problems on older computers simply cannot be fixed at all any more.
- Do I need to have a broadband connection to use RedLine?
It's not necessary, however, customers usually experience longer session times using dial-up due to limited connection speeds.
